Our world is becoming immensely complicated and our lovely planet is infested with social injustices, poverty and wars. It is up to us to change the situation, which is why I am in full support of Dibanisa.
We need to change the circumstances within our own environment first, but we also need to assist those less fortunate people in countries where the overall situation is not as easy as further developed countries with solid infrastructures.
Dibanisa is a good case study for a regional concept, which is based on the idea to assist and educate people by using sport as a platform. For me it’s important that Dibanisa is a long-term perspective and that the project was not developed only because of the interest in the FIFA 2010 World Cup™. Sustainability is one of the key attributes of Dibanisa and that makes it unique.
